Taiwan Prenup Shoot | Aleah and Mark

I remember this shoot very clearly because it came quite early in the year, and somehow it already felt like a sign of what was ahead for us. There was so much energy (the best kind), so many good vibes, and honestly, so many great photos that came out of this trip. Looking back now, after what is turning out to be one of the most exciting years we’ve had at Metrophoto, it feels fitting that this was one of the shoots that helped set the tone for everything.

Aleah is such a true-blue Metrophoto bride. She is obviously gorgeous, but what I really love about her is the mix of everything else. She can be fun, spunky but she is also incredibly gracious and elegant. Mark, on the other hand, complemented her perfectly, and together they made the whole experience so easy for us. Nothing felt too serious, and yet everything photographed beautifully.

We’ve shot in Taiwan a few times before, so every time we go back, I always ask myself how we can make it feel different. I don’t want to return to a place only to create versions of photos we’ve already done. For Aleah and Mark, we ended up going to places we had never photographed before, and I think that made the whole experience even more special. Everything felt fresh, and the photos felt like theirs. That is always important to me.

Some shoots stay with you because of one spectacular location or one particular photograph. This one stayed with me because the entire trip was just such a good experience from beginning to end. Thank you, Aleah and Mark, for trusting us, for bringing all that beautiful energy, and for allowing us to create something that will be forever special.
