While it’s not unusual for us to shoot weddings (duh), and it’s also not too unusual for us to shoot chefs for their profile or their restaurant, I have to say that what’s quite unusual is shooting a chef (and content creator) that is getting married, and mind you, a pretty famous one.

I met Juri, more famously known as Jujumao, during a TikTok event, and his passion for food, my passion for wines, and both our passion for visual aesthetics contributed to what I should call a blending of flavors to cook up the images for his engagement session and wedding. In really simple terms, he and Joanna got Metrophoto to shoot the most important day of their lives (yet), and we were so stoked, or should I say hungry, to do it.

Before we share how beautiful and well attended their wedding was, here is a mellow and earnest take on the love that these two have, something simple yet striking, quiet yet heartfelt—something like ASMR but in engagement photos.
