Dubai Engagement Session | Ara and Archie

It’s been eight years since I last shot a pre-wedding shoot in Dubai. Somehow in the following years after that (including the pandemic), as other destinations became trendy in social media, Dubai seemed to have lost its luster – a place branded for its exorbitance more than anything else.

Now it may be true that other places that have become popular in recent times are rich in history, rich in culture or rich in natural wonders, but Dubai is rich, period. And you know what they say about something with unlimited resources – it may sometimes be down, but it will never be out.

Dubai has been on a resurgence. And this shoot of Ara and Archie, is an amalgamation of that resurgence – this is about passion, about power, and about the fervent desire to love and show love and be great at it.

From the captivating desert of Al Maha to the imposing skylines of downtown Dubai, from camel-herding to ‘horse (power) – driving, Ara and Archie spared nothing and the result are photos that tell a
picture (pun intended) of persistence, of power, and of passion and how gorgeous these can all be.
