A Tagaytay Wedding Photographer | Diane and Edric

My life capturing moments and memories as a photographer gave me an innate sense of a couple’s chemistry, and I can say that I felt a huge dose of it when I met Diane and Edric, a classy and stylish couple whose wedding ceremony was simple yet very elegant in its own way. It is a joy to see how good they look together, with a faint sparkle in each other’s eyes when they are together in one frame. I think that is light and love that shines through, especially now that they are officially together, forever.

Weeks before the event, and because of the ongoing circumstances, I never had an opportunity to have conventional meetings with them to polish the details of the wedding shoot. However, this did not impede us from establishing a connection reflecting rapport and trust. It was that instantaneous connection that helped me capture them and the full spectrum of love and emotions that pass between them. I also sincerely appreciate how they consulted me about some of the aesthetic aspects of the ceremony, like what masks should be provided to the guests or what the color palette of Diane’s robe should be. They allowed me to be immersed in the process, which I am truly grateful for because they really opened up about what they want to be captured on their big day, from sun up to sundown.

As a photographer for more than a decade, I’ve had my fair share of moments spent capturing milestones and memories as priceless and timeless as weddings. For Diane and Edric’s wedding, there was something extra special as it was my first time to shoot at this new church and such a serene one at that. The quiet elegance of the church perfectly complemented the quiet exultation of two hearts finally beating as one.

The ceremony was bestowed by favorable weather, with clear skies and calm winds. It was like the universe conspired to make the perfect setting for Diane and Edric. It was like a romantic movie unveiling itself right before my eyes, but much better because it was with real people and real emotions, especially when Edric’s eyes welled up as he saw Diane slowly walking down the aisle, towards him and forever.

To Diane and Edric, may you keep the sparks flying long into the decades to come, and continue to be a wonderful testament of what love is all about.
