Hongkong Destination Engagement Session | Daniel and Maybz
Metrophoto was back in Hongkong again last month for the E-session of Daniel and Maybz. For this shoot, we went with the old and the new, with the new being the old and old being the new. hahaha! I know that seemed confusing and senseless but I promise it’s not. When I said the old and the new, I meant we shot in a location that we’ve shot at before, which was the Tsim Sha Tsui so it was an “old” location. But since the Heritage 1881 is fairly new, I said the “new” being the “old”. right? :) If that somehow made some sense already, then I go to the “new” place which was at the Aberdeen. Even if this area is one of the oldest ports in Hongkong, it’s a fairly new thing to shoot here. Thus, the “old” being the “new”. You may have to read this entire paragraph again to understand it better (although there is a chance that it just really sucked how I wrote the whole thing). hehehe.
But you know what? understanding it doesn’t really matter as much as enjoying what’s in store. I’m really happy how this shoot turned-out – we never really planned a lot and also got a little bit lost trying to find the boat in Aberdeen. But in the end, we nailed it at the head with time to spare for some good old roasted goose dinner :)
Enjoy the photos and special thanks to my Metrophoto Groom, Millan for helping me out in this shoot :)
