Rhea Bue and Jeff Ong Wedding
As the saying goes, “Choose a job that you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.” This statement rung so true last Cinco de Mayo, when Jeff and Rhea finally tied the knot. One, I was reminded that, yes, I did choose the job best-suited to me, something that I wholeheartedly love. Two, shooting their big day didn’t feel like work at all! More than anything, it felt like a big, happy fiesta with good friends who just happened to be the most fun and stylish people as well.
I’ve known Jeff and Rhea for some time. They booked us before the pandemic hit and I’ve gotten to know them better over the years. As influencers, they’re used to being in front of the camera which is a big plus in itself. What’s even better, these two are just game for anything! It was so much fun talking and sharing our ideas about what we can do. Their prenup and wedding turned out just as I expected: edgy, high fashion, and totally Metrophoto.
To be chosen as their photographer is both a huge compliment and privilege. But what I love even more is the special friendship we’ve developed. And I suppose this is what we hope to have with mostly everyone we shoot as well.
Jeff and Rhea, thank you for making us a part of your big day. It was one filled with so much love, so much joy, and so much alcohol, haha! It’s only been a month since your wedding but I’m already looking forward to our next shoot together (Europe, right, guys?).
