A Zamboanga Wedding Photographer | Cyra and Andie
Cyra and Andie’s splendid wedding celebration was definitely one of the shoot highlights of 2021 for me, as it also afforded our team the opportunity to shoot somewhere new and different in the Philippines.
My first visit to Zamboanga was last 2017, but to actually experience the place through the lens of how Cyra and Andie had grown up there added a personal element for our team to get to know what truly mattered to the couple. The both of them are currently based abroad but decided to have their wedding back home in Zamboanga so that their family and friends could be a part of their heartwarming union.
Upon our team’s arrival in Zamboanga, we were met with a flurry of warmth and camaraderie by the couple and their family, something we deeply appreciated, which for a tiny moment made us feel that we were there for a vacation versus shooting Cyra and Andie’s wedding! The couple’s hospitality and kindness further fuelled our team’s drive to make sure that we delivered the exceptionally beautiful shots that Metrophoto is known for, as Cyra and Andie definitely deserved this and more.
As the day of the wedding approached, we shifted into our creative mindsets to plan out how best to capture the gentle warmth and sincerity of Cyra and Andie’s love story, with the new landscape to shoot thrilling our team. We knew we could be more creatively daring in our shots. The unfamiliarity of the location gave us the encouragement to take more risks like capturing the gorgeous couple posing on top of a car and having Andie walk on the side of a building (it is double-walled) to render a distinctive shot.
But all these unique photos we took were mainly pretty extras that we wanted to offer to the couple, as we set our focus on capturing each and every moment that deeply mattered to them during the superb wedding itself: the radiant Cyra walking down the aisle to a beaming Andie; their loved ones holding back tears as the glowing couple professed their eternal love for one another; the moment they shared their first kiss as husband and wife; and the tears of joy and laughter as everyone celebrated one of the most heartwarming unions they’ve ever had the honor of witnessing.
Delivering these painstakingly crafted shots was well-worth all the time and energy it took our team to capture; seeing the captivating outcome of each shot symbolizing the depth of love and passion that Cyra and Andie hold for one another is something that the Metrophoto team will always be thrilled and grateful to be a part of.

A motivating discussion is definitely worth comment. I think that
you need to publish more about this issue, it may not be a taboo subject but generally people do not
talk about such topics. To the next! Best
wishes!!
