Europe Family Portraits | The Metrophoto Family
Photography has changed my life.
I didn’t grow up in a well-to-do family. We were not poor but certainly not rich as well. It was a typical middle-class family with my dad working overseas for many many years just to be able to provide us with decent education and a decent home. While being born rich is not a sure ticket to success, being born anything less than that surely diminishes the odds. After studying I worked and studied again and worked while studying only to find that initial push with photography. I decided to be a full-time wedding photographer because back then I would need to work 10 years as a Senior Finance Analyst in order to make the one-year worth of booking I already had. It wasn’t really a hard decision.
I embraced the art as it has embraced me. It’s hard to believe that through it I am able to take my family to trips across the world – something I only dream of before even as an adult. It was a life-changing experience to be able to spend all those times together with my family and as priceless as the memories are, I relied again to photography to keep those moments even more priceless.
So I hope you all don’t mind, and more so, enjoy and take inspiration with all these family photos that me and my family worked for and immensely enjoyed. I may not afford the most luxurious of things for them yet (or even ever), but at least I can give the most distinct of vacation photographs.

I hope someday I will have an opportunity to have you take our family pictures. You are truly gifted and demonstrate so much passion and pride in what you do. My wife and I hope to meet you when we go home this October. My wife and I always believed that pictures are the best chronicles of one’s lives. Thank you for sharing!

Hi, great shots! How did you do it? Was there someone else taking the family photo? Or you did it by via camera timer?

Tessa
Great photos! It truly captures the joy and beauty of the moment!
I had the same Qs as Benj. Did you use a tripod and timer or was there someone taking the photos of you and your family?
May I know what camera was used? Thanks.
