The Wedding of Jean and Steve
I can still remember over three years back when it was one of the first times that we were seriously changing how group shots in weddings were being done – we wanted to make it amazing with the use fantastic blocking and more creative framing. It was a challenge back then when no one was doing it because of so many limitations, but in one wedding we were able to execute not only the most complicated we’ve tried but the most beautiful one as well. That photo is still one of my most favourite group shots of all time and one thing I particularly remember from that shot was Jean, she was one the bride’s cousins and unluckily (or luckily perhaps) the one who got the most difficult poses. I knew she then would be a gorgeous bride when she gets married and hoped that when that time comes, she would also book me to shoot it.
Well here we are, today I’m actually featuring Jean’s wedding to Steve. It is just so wonderful to think about how it actually happened and moreso how Jean was even more gorgeous of a bride than how I imagined before and she couldn’t have married a more charming and better man. Of course you may have already been amazed by Jean and Steve with the photos from their pre-wedding shoot in Biri Island last year.
