Anvaya Cove Pre-wedding | Margaux and Francis

The search for that unique pre-wedding concept is always a challenge – a challenge that gets more difficult everyday. Before when you shoot in the beach, it was unique already. Then you got to have a boat, then a yacht, then an even bigger yacht. When that became not-so-unusual, couples turned to planes – they are much more complicated and expensive. Yet even that became too mainstream. So what is next? Let Margaux and Francis tell you.

All of my couples want top-quality photographs and of course they don’t want to have the same photographs as other people – they are, like what we always say, very hard to please. Margaux and Francis is on the far side of that spectrum, so when they went to me they already know what is next – a Seaplane!!! What’s better than a boat and a plane? What about a plane that’s also a boat? Brilliant I must say.

Once you finish browsing through all the photographs, you will also realise that we still shot in a yacht – just to cover the ‘boat’ idea because really, a plane – even if it is on water, is not technically a boat. And just for fun – we threw in a concept that is complex in every way. That shoot with all the candles required 8 people to light up a thousand candles, by the beach, and in the middle of the night. That was only the set-up, shooting it required more from everyone as working with all those live candles – whether you’re the one posing or you’re the one shooting or you’re the one making sure they are all lit, is never easy.

So in a world filled with pre-wedding shoots in boats, in planes and in beaches, we give you more of them. haha! Enjoy.

On a side note, I’d like to say that the shoot we had with the sea plane was totally harassed (total of about an hour only), this after the pilot (who was so rude) decided he wouldn’t keep what was initially agreed upon and leave much earlier and was such a pain to work with. Yes, this is an AirJuan plane who’s name we digitally removed because they don’t deserve to be seen in the photos.
