Baler Philippines Destination Pre-Wedding | Daniel and Honey
From Cagayan de Oro, we now fly back up north to Baler. Named the surfing capital of Luzon, this seaside town was made famous by the movie of Jericho Rosales and Anne Curtis, a love story that unfolded in the town hundreds of years ago. And today, Baler will be made famous by a couple named Honey and Daniel – not actual movie stars, but stars in their own rights nonetheless.
Baler is beautiful, perhaps even more so if the heat wasn’t torrefying and the hike a little bit less strenuous. But the reward is in the photos especially for Honey and Daniel who even had to gracefully and patiently pose in front of the camera. I am proud of the effort that was put forward to come up with something that stands out and still represent the place as how it actually is. From the Cove of Dicasalarin, to Sabang beach and to the biggest and oldest Baleta tree in Asia (or maybe Southeast Asia – who really cares?), we took in what Baler had to offer and loved every moment of it.
Special thanks goes out to Honey and Daniel for letting us experience Honey’s hometown in the most indulging way. Also to Rian Ramos (the designer not the actress), Enchant, Wilson and Gideon Hermosa for their enormous contribution in this shoot and for the entire Metrophoto team – who follow early for our team building activities and helped out in closing the shoot. Enjoy :)
