The Wedding of Eva and Homer
I think that one of the most difficult feat to attain if you are a wedding photographer is to be able to shoot an entire set of siblings. It’s not easy because it takes years in-between for each of them to get married and so many things happen to them and to you during those gaps. And even if everything goes well, there are always the challenge of availability, preference, and costs. I’ve shot two of three siblings already at the most but never all three or more.
This is why today’s post is special. While Homer is actually sibling number two of the Ilagans, it was in this wedding that Ellaine, sibling number three, confirmed, with the help of sibling number one, Erin, that I will also shoot her wedding (the number is not from eldest to youngest, just on who got married first :P). That would make it three out of three for me, and to tell you honestly, the feeling is amazing. It’s just great to see the same set of families get bigger and bigger and to feel that somehow you are a part of it – or at least at their most important celebrations.
So I hope that you also enjoy these photos from the beautiful wedding of Eva and Homer. Awesome locations and more awesome people. I’m already two out of three siblings in two other families, including that of Erin’s husband, Christian, so I’m looking forward to more wonderful family affairs with them :D
Eva and Homer are also childhood sweethearts and included also in this feature are shots from their pre-wedding shoot from their hometown in Balayan, Batangas.
