The Wedding of Monicca and Dane
I love Monicca and Dane, super nice, genuine and beautiful people with an equally nice and beautiful family and friends. Their wedding are those that we suppliers refer to as ‘ideal’ – lively, engaged, uncomplicated and very tasteful. I could fill several blog posts just to describe it but guess what, Dane is doing just exactly that. And between him and me, Dane, the proverbial combination of geek and super cool dude, surely would have a lot more interesting things to write.
Here are excerpts from his posts (currently 3 parts) and at the bottom are links to the full write-up which I highly encourage that you visit – there more photos there too than here so I won’t blame if you don’t come back anymore.
Part 1:
On July 4, 2014, I checked in to my suite at the Raffles Hotel in Makati. After dinner with my parents and a late night visit from my cousins, I proceeded to write my vows on the huge desk in my room. At first I couldn’t get my mind to settle down, so I went down to the Raffles Long Bar to get a drink (or three) and watch the World Cup match. The ideas flowed freely after.

Part 2:
Because today was the perfect day to have ARTSYSHOT #1 featuring my fiancee’s engagement ring, and soon to be, wedding ring. All shots taken by the phenomenal, Oly Ruiz. (I had to pick this line for totally unbiased reasons).

Part 3:
My father-in-law and I have a quick chat, one I hope to be able to do for my future daughters. Tito and Tita (now Dad and Mom) have always been very loving, generous and supportive of Nicca and myself. I was proud, that day, to become the son they always wished they had.
