Manila Cathedral and Blue Leaf Filipinas Wedding | Jella and Ross
Expectations are always heightened when it comes to weddings. Couples experience this only once in their lives thus they make the best they can out of the big day. Consequently, people who will attend the wedding also expects this out of the wedding too. But I think this “expectation” from a wedding is the highest when the groom sort of makes history with how he proposed which made the entire world watch. (check it out here)
The wedding of Jella and Ross was thrown into the spotlight months before the actual wedding day because of Ross’ spectacular and elaborate proposal to Jella in Binondo Manila. The video of that proposal not only made it to the nightly news but in every part of the world. And yet the best thing about all of these was that, indeed the proposal was only the beginning. Today’s feature was a wedding full of fresh ideas that have surely given that very impressive proposal, a worthy conclusion.
From the incredible painting that Ross gave to Jella as a gift on their wedding day, the use of the legendary Mac Arthur Suite inside the Manila Hotel for Jella’s preps, the first use of the Luxe Bus, up to having TWO onsite videos – yes, one being a “vows video” that was played at the start of the reception program and the other regular onsite video itself – both made by Bob Nicolas. It was a wedding filled with so many amazing things, but what really is the most amazing is that in the celebration of each others love, the inspiration to be different and to come up with new and awesome things was overflowing.
Jell and Ross has set the bar to quite a considerable height and I’m excited to see the trend that it sets out to make. Enjoy the photos.

Very awesome coverage!!! I want the same for my Wedding this August 20th. Do I still have time? I’m up for a military wedding and I chose Manila Cathedral and reception at The Manila Hotel as well.
Please send me quotations and I would also like Metro photo to cover my wedding. I will wait.
