Tagaytay Weddings | Kathleen and Danny
Every professional or every artist’s career experiences paths and opportunities that are similar in a lot of ways. The only difference I would guess is how fast these things happen and how one reacts to it, to either the benefit or demise of his or her career. One of the indication that you have probably been doing it right is when it is one of your own that comes to you and tells you to do it for him. It’s like a surgeon picking another to do his own operation or a painter choosing another painter to do his portrait for him. It feels different and surely it is as challenging as much as it is motivating.
Today’s feature of Kathleen and Danny is exactly like that. Danny Santos, also known as Danny St., is not just any photographer – he’s renown in his own field of street portraiture in Singapore. You can just imagine the expectations to deliver especially seeing early on the wedding day how much they prepared for it with a lot of do-it-yourself stuff that were really well-made. I was grateful for be chosen and while I know that anticipation were heightened, I feel that I already put that to myself in every wedding that we do and it all turned out ok.
I can’t thank Kathleen and Danny enough for choosing and trusting me, they let me do what I have to do and more importantly, they worked with me to make sure that every idea is executed perfectly. I just have to mention that Kathleen is such a metrophoto bride – all gutsy and beautiful in all the poses and shots. I guess the advantage in such a situation is that they already understand what needs to be done in order create great photographs and we all helped each other in making it happen.
Enjoy the photos, it’s not all that common to see a very good photographer getting married – much less looking as very good in the photographs themselves.
