Intramuros Engagement Session | Gela and Mark

In Metrophoto, it’s part of the culture to always look for something new, something different. We strive to make sure that each shoot has it’s own thing that couples can call their own. One of the ways we are able to do this is by carefully selecting the location on where to shoot. We avoid places that are very commonly used for engagement shoots like La Mesa Eco Park and Intramuros. But it doesn’t mean that we can’t or we won’t shoot there. If the reason make sense like what Gela and Mark had, we gladly take the challenge and create the same level of experience and photographs.

So yes, today’s feature are photos from the e-session shoot of Gela and Mark around Intramuros and inside the Bayview Hotel. This wonderful couple is based in Canada and wanted to go and shoot where the heritage and character of their home country are very present – and where else would that be than within the gates of Intramuros. I wad really an exciting shoot as we are able to find some really awesome vantage points and were able to create shots are still new and unique despite the location’s ‘overused’ status. In fact that shot from the rooftop of the hotel feels so much like being in Rome with the Manila Cathedral serving as the prominent figure.

Enjoy the photos. Make-up be Denise Go and Styling by Deb Bernales

Fantastic job! Love the photos.. particularly the one with Guardia Sibil looking while they’re kissing. Also the topshot at the wall where they look so tiny is really breath-taking! Galing grabe :D
