Ellinwood and Manila Peninsula Weddings | Shiela and Kipper

From one beautiful wedding, we’re on to the next. Today’s feature is the wedding of Shiela and Kipper from last year at the Ellinwood Church in Malate and at the Manila Peninsula.

From a wedding that’s wonderful al throughout, it’s not easy to spot things that really stoodout – because everything just seemed to do so. But there are a few things that really made this wedding more unforgettable. First, it was the stunningly magnificent wedding gown that Shiela wore. A creation by Cecilio Abad, the piece almost covered the entire staircase of the Peninsula Manila. Second was the transformation of the Ellinwood Chapel. It’s hard to change something that is already attractive on its own, but with the work of GIdeon Hermosa, the place of ceremony became enchantingly beautiful.

And while I give full praises to those who executed and made those things happen, a huge part of the credit to Shiela and Kipper who wanted nothing less for their wedding. In fact, on top of the grand wedding gown and the intricate set-ups, it was Sheila who was the true standout on that day. And I’m not just stating the obvious, I know that brides easily should be standouts in their weddings, but it’s not for any bride to wear and be in those things and still pull it off fabulously. Shiela was gorgeous, striking, and dauntless – one of the few big bride crushes that I have, and their wedding couldn’t have been any better.
