Santuario de San Antonio and Mandarin Oriental Weddings | Raymund and Christian
It has been raining non-stop for more than a week already. I love the rain and that’s why nothing beats living in the Philippines (well maybe living in Seattle but someone told me the rain stories there are not true – they use it to discourage Californians to live there). But the record rainfall that we’ve recently seen here in Manila is nothing to be really giddy about as it has caused widespread flooding already.
Despite this seemingly endless ordeal, the cloud finally thinned-out and the downpour stopped. This, as I was also starting to make a write-up for this blogpost. It’s like telling me – ‘hey here’s some sunshine to inspire you to write something really nice’. I didn’t need it to think of something nice because the wedding of Raymund and Christian were already full of it, but it did remind me of how weddings are very much like sunshine – delightful, inspiring, and a metaphor of great things to come. Strangely enough, it looks as though me posting this overpowered the rain and I’d like to think of it like that.
I know now that the sun is out, there a lot of things that can perk-up your already perking-up day but allow the photos from the beautiful wedding of Raymund and Christian to ignite it even more. :)
Enjoy the photos especially those awesome shots we had inside the Buddha Bar :)
