This September Metrophoto will celebrate its second anniversary by launching HOTHOUSE. Hothouse, as the term goes, is the workshop on wedding photography crafted by Metrophoto to bring to interested photographers all the learining, techniques, and knowledge that has made the Metrophoto brand succeed in the short time since its inception.  

Part of the workshop activities and discussions are shooting concepts, equipment line-up and set-up, actual shoot, post production, up to branding and marketing. We'll simulate how to extract unique and stylish images out of a location that seemed to have nothing, we'll share and show all the gears we use and WHEN and WHERE we use them and what could be your cheaper alternative, we'll explain how to get that Metrophoto look right from the shooting up to final processing, and most importantly, how to create your own brand and business. The workshop will be participated and sponsored by top wedding suppliers in the country.

As a way of saying thank you, we are conducting the initial Hothouse edition free of charge. There will however be a registration fee of 500 Pesos needed to secure the slot. These will be used for the workshop materials, models, food, and venue. You will also need to be a member of the Pinoy Photography forum (the biggest photo online community in the country) for us to ensure that we get your identity and no slot will be wasted.

Ready to get metrofied and be part of the Hothouse? Here are the steps to follow. 

1. Register at www.pinoyphotography.org/forum. No posts required. 

2. Comment on at least 3 blog topics in this site, www.mymetrophoto.com. Enter your name (or pinoy photography username) in the comments and then email all the comments to us at meetus@mymetrophoto.com. 

3. You'll get a reply from us confirming your slot along with the details of the bank account where to deposit the registration fee. 

4. Deposit the 500 pesos registration fee. 

5. Email us back of the payment confirmation and you're done. 

6. We'll then send you a start-up email on what to prepare and bring.
